Grounding and Bonding Wires Prevent Static Sparks

Helps comply with 29 CFR 1910.106 (e)(6)(ii) when transferring Class I flammable liquids

Wide choice of end connectors and cable lengths

Draining or pouring liquids can build up static electricity on containers. Static sparks can cause explosion and fire. That's why OSHA requires bonding and grounding of drums, pails, and safety cans containing liquids with flashpoint below 100ºF. Stainless steel cables are 7x19 stranded – the ultimate in flexibility, durability, and corrosion resistance. Unlike cheaper steel wires, stainless cables are inherently sparkproof. Can be used outdoors and with strong chemicals. Dual Wire Sets permit all-in-one bonding and grounding. Includes one 2' wire and one 5' wire joined at one end. Joined end attaches to drum, short wire bonds safety can, long wire attaches to ground. Each end has an alligator clip.

Plier Clamp and "C" Clamps are galvanized steel "C" clamp with stainless steel point, 3/4"opening.

Pipe Clamp and "C" Clamps are cast bronze pipe clamp, 3/4" capacity.

Dual Plier Clamps are die cast aluminum clamps. Stainless steel points and 55 lb. spring ensure fast, positive metal-to-metal connection. 3/4" grip range.

Dual Alligator Clips are solid copper clips, 5/8" grip range

Dual Bonding/Grounding Sets includes one 2' and one 5' wire joined at one end, alligator clips at all ends.

Ideal for high production drum handling operations. Convenient reel keeps just the right length of wire handy, helps promote regular use. Spring-loaded retracting reel holds 20' or 50' of 3/32" diameter uninsulated corrosion-resistant steel cable. Reel locks when operator pulls out the length of cable needed. Light pull on cable automatically retracts it. Choice of end connectors: Plier Clamp is die cast aluminum. Stewart Browne Battery Powered Ground Verification System

No field wiring required; uses a 9V Lithium Manganese battery

FM Approved; meets Class I & II, Division I requirements

Bond-Rite houses all of the electronics inside of a stainless steel clamp. A continuous flashing LED light on the clamp confirms the grounded connection. Includes 16' of Hytrel coiled cable and ground connection box with quick disconnect plug. Bond-Rite Remote uses an REB-IP or GAT-IP hand clamp. All of the electronics and LED light are housed in a wall mounted stainless enclosure. Includes 16' of Hytrel coiled cable.
