Meet UN Requirements for hazardous materials

Protect the integrity and safety of your product

These steel drums are designed, manufactured, and certified to meet UN requirements under DOT 49 CFR. Constructed of first-quality cold-rolled steel. Supplied with rust-inhibitor interior or chemical-resistant epoxy-phenolic lining. Standard in-stock color is black.

For other colors, minimums and extra charges apply. Special configuration of bung openings on the cover and side of drums are available, as well as agitator drums.

Closed-Head Steel Drums with 2" NPS and 3/4" NPS bungs

Open-Head Steel Drums with 12-gauge bolt-type locking ring, bolt, nut and gasketed cover.

These Open-Head steel drums have an innovative new UN qualified drum ring that eliminates the need for tools and takes the guesswork out of complying with technical closure instructions. The quick-lever closure secures easily, with no need to measure torque or ring gap. Standard color is black. For other colors, minimums and extra charges may apply. Durable seamless drums have .180" nominal wall thickness. Rustproof and dent-proof, they're ideal for outside storage. Drums are stackable and easy to handle. Closed-Head Drums are supplied with one 2" NPS and one 3/4" NPS bung. Open-Head Drums are supplied with bolted steel locking ring and plain cover without fittings. Lever-lock rings and covers with fittings are also available, see below. Select color choice when ordering. These drums can also be color matched to your specification at no extra cost and with no minimum order. Ask your BASCO Customer Service Representative for details.

Molded high density polyethylene drums provide superior impact resistance. Color is molded-in, won't fade or peel. Blue Top Straight Sided Dums have molded in rolling hoops. Supplied with choice of lever-lock or bolt ring and choice of plain cover or cover with (2) 2" NPS plugs. Natural Top Straight-Sided Drums have molded in rolling hoops. Supplied with choice of lever-lock or bolt ring and choice of plain cover or cover with a 2" NPS plug and one 3/4" NPS plug. Open-Head Taper-Sided Drums nest for economical transportation. Supplied with plain cover and lever-lock ring for fast, cover removal.
