Ship steel or plastic pails and avoid the $8.50 "Additional Handling Charge" for unboxed pails from UPS or FedEx. The box is specially designed for all 5 gallon pails and uses 2 corrugated inserts to hold the pail tightly in place (sold separately below). Ergonomically positioned hand holes are located on the sides for easy lifting and handling. Our Ergo-Paks™ and Ergo-Pak Overpacks™ help protect pails from damage. The Ergo-Pak Overpack™ is for shipping UN regulated material. Pails sold separately. The cartons are manufactured to have a higher gross weight limit than standard double wall cartons. Custom printing is available. Note: This carton is certified to have an Edge Crush Test (ECT) rating of 48 pounds per inch and a gross weight limit of 100 lbs. (shippers will not accept packages that exceed the weight limits stamped on the box). As with any carton, it will not enhance or improve the integrity or performance of the pail being shipped within the carton.

Steel pail shipper is UN rated for open and tight-head steel pails. Includes a heavy duty corrugated carton with foam pads or without.

Plastic pail shipper has two UN ratings, one for open-head plastic pails and the other for tight-head plastic pails. Consists of a heavy duty corrugated carton only.

* Open head plastic pails are not suitable for air shipment.

Hedpak® is a semi-rigid high density polyethylene bottle designed to fit inside a heavy-duty 350 lb. double wall corrugated outer shipping carton. Molded top handle and bottom finger grips for easy lifting and pouring, large 70mm screw cap for fast filling and draining. In-line spout allows complete draining with 3/4" faucet (order faucet separately). Special venting cap in the handle allows smooth product flow while dispensing, prevents "chugging". Order Hedpak® bottles and cartons separately. Knocked down containers are intended for non-hazardous products.

Assembled Hedpak® 049-4358ASM is factory assembled into the shipper carton, meets UN Specification 4G/Y30/S for hazardous products.

Hedpak® Cartons are 350 lb. DW Kraft, not UN-Rated.
