BASCO OEM-Quality Drum Plug Gaskets Round-Head Type Gaskets have a narrow cross-section, fit the round-head steel plugs, and the plastic plugs. Hex-Head Type Gaskets have a wide cross-section, fit the hex-head steel and plastic plugs. Choice of materials: Buna is an excellent general purpose black nitrile rubber compound that's ideal for many products, especially petroleum-based liquids. The most widely used plug gasket material. Regular Polyethylene is 100% virgin FDA-Compliant polyethylene for foods and chemicals. Natural color. Irradiated Polyethylene is cross-linked FDA-Compliant polyethylene for chemical resistance at higher temperatures. Color tinted to distinguish from standard polyethylene. EPR (ethylene-propylene rubber) offers greater resistance to acids and alkalis, and heat resistance superior to buna. White color. Neoprene has good petroleum resistance and excellent chemical and heat resistance. Teflon® offers superior chemical resistance to virtually any liquid. Viton® fluorocarbon rubber is the highest performance elastomer you can buy. It offers outstanding chemical and heat resistance. NOTE: TV20 sold in case quantity only (1000/case).
