JUSTRITE Safety Drum Vents

Protect your drums, protect your factory

Prevents dangerous pressure build-up and airlock

FM-Approved

If your drums of flammable liquids are exposed to heat or fire, the pressure buildup can rupture the drum and fuel the fire. Vent plugs automatically open at 5 psi/internal pressure to protect the drum. Built-in flame arrestor prevents “flashback” ignition of the vented vapor to the drum contents.

Vertical Drum Vents have automatic dual-action pressure/vacuum with automatic vacuum relief. Fits 2" NPS bung opening.

Horizontal Drum Vent fits 2" NPS bung opening of drums stored on side. Automatic pressure relief, manually relives vacuum when draining contents.

100P - Polyethylene/Steel Vents are for petroleum-based chemicals. High density polyethylene vent with plated steel flame arrestor.

100S & 300S - Polyethylene/Stainless Vents and All-Stainless Vents are ideal for chlorinated solvents and corrosive chemicals.

100 & 300 - All-Brass Vents are ideal for petroleum-based chemicals.

RM05431 - All-Brass Adapter allows 100 Series safety vents to attach to 3/4" bung opening.

8011 & 8015 - Elbow Fittings allow use of automatic dual-action vents (100 series) on horizontally stored drums. Cast iron construction with 2" NPT opening for vent and choice of 2" NPT or 3/4" NPT inlet.

This safety vent is perfect when you need the 2” bung opening for a big gate valve to handle flammable viscous liquids. Vent constantly breathes. Perforated metal flash arrestor prevents flashback ignition through the vent. Protective hood covers flash arrestor, prevents dust and dirt from entering drum.

Triple-action Aerovent^® has a built-in activated carbon filter that captures VOC emissions released during drum venting. Automatic pressure relief at 5 psi protects the drum from damage. Automatic vacuum relief allows chug-free draining. Internal flame arrestor prevents flashback from external sources of ignition. Brass vent body, polyethylene filter housing. Fits 2" NPS bung. 6" diameter x 12 1/2" high.
