The 2 to 3 gallons of expensive product that’s usually left in your drum is expensive, and so is disposing of the drum with all that residue. Unique siphon device reduces it to just a few ounces and eliminates dangerous drum tipping or rolling. Siphon screws into 3/4" NPT bung opening. Opposite end accepts a 3/4" NPT male faucet thread. When a 3/4" faucet is too small and a 2" faucet is just too big

This faucet is widely used in the agricultural market but it can be used in any industry to pour viscous liquids from plastic or steel drums.

When using the 1" faucet with a steel drum the 1NPS2 adapter is required. Position a filled drum vertically, replace the 2" NPS drum plug with 1NPS2, unscrew it's 1" center plug and install the faucet. Place the drum horizontally on a drum cradle or secure it in a drum dumper and you are ready to pour.

When using the 1" faucet with a plastic drum the 1BUT2 adapter is required. Position a filled drum vertically, replace the 2" Buttress drum plug with 1BUT2, unscrew it's 1" center plug and install the faucet. Place the drum horizontally on a drum cradle or secure it in a drum drumper and you are ready to pour.

A bung fastener clip is availabe for attaching the 1" center plug to the faucet handle for safe keeping.

Plugs 1NPS2 and 1BUT2 are made of polypropylene and include EPDM O-rings.

An industry favorite for thick liquids

Super rugged cast iron gate valves have a large, nearly straight bore with an oval discharge opening angled at 45-60º for fast flow of thick liquids without splashing. The machined and lapped brass faceplate provides smooth operation and a perfect seal. Glossy black lacquer finish.

Standard Gate Valve has short formed-steel handle.

Long Handle Gate Valve has long cast iron handle for extra leverage and easier, more precise operation.

Lock Nut Gate Valve has lock nut and gasket. Gasket and nut tighten against drum, which permits the valve to be turned to any desired direction for draining without breaking the seal.

700W Faucet features a vertical on/off control knob, vertical dispensing spout with male 2” BSP male threads and 2” BSP male threaded inlet.

COM4417 Faucet features an offset on/off control knob. With no downward spout, this tap considered an inline straight-through faucet with 2” BSP male threaded inlet and outlet, allowing bottom discharge from floor-level containers.

COM4439 2” Cutter Adapter is required when using faucets 700W or COM4417 with IBCs equipped with inner liners. The adapter attaches to container-side of the faucet and its stainless steel cutter pin pierces the liner as the faucet is screwed into container.

An easy drip-proof method for dispensing from drums in racks

Drums stored horizontally are difficult to drain. This innovative drum tap fits over and seals tightly to the 2" round-head type (octagonal-base) bung opening. T-handle engages and unscrews the plug and controls the flow rate. Large opening permits viscous liquids to drain completely without spills or leaks. When finished, the handle reseals the plug and the tap is completely removed. No faucet to drip or break off. Glass-filled polypropylene construction with nitrile rubber o-ring seal handles most chemicals.

IMPORTANT: Not recommended for aromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons such as toluene, xylene, benzene, trichloethylene, or turpentine.

FS4038 adapter is required if attaching faucet 400-4401 to a Rieke FSII FLEXSPOUT®. The large end of the FS4038 adapter attaches to the 40 mm threads on the FSII. The 400-4401 faucet attaches to the 38 mm extenal threads on the smaller end of the adapter.

The FS4038 has 40 mm female threads on one end for attaching to a Rieke FSII FLEXSPOUT®. The other end of the adapter has 38 mm male threads. Most pail faucets, pumps and spout extenders are designed to fit 38 mm threads. It is important to know whether you have a 38 mm or 40 mm threaded spout when purchasing any product to screw onto the spout. 38 mm spouts are still made by other manufactures and use differnent brand names, like UNI-GRIP, etc.

Don't let humidity contaminate liquids stored in your drums!

As liquid is drained out of a drum, air moves in. If the air is humid the water can condense in the drum and damage the contents. The desiccant cartridge dries the air as it enters the drum. Disposable cartridge absorbs up to .2 pounds of water vapor, dries air to a dew point of –100º F. Indicator window in cartridge changes from blue to pink when the cartridge needs to be replaced.

Dryer Cartridge is filled with calcium sulfate, measures 2 11/16" D x 10" L.

Adapter mounts cartridge in 3/4" or 2" NPS bung opening.
