AGM and TRX Thermostat Control with Three-Heat Switch designed for use on steel drums and pails with materials with good heat receptivity. Thermostat bulb senses temperature in an area distant from the heating elements. Three-heat switch allows three wattage ranges per thermostat setting. AGM heaters operate on 120 volts, up to 1750 watts, with standard 3-prong plug. TRX heaters operate on 120 or 240 volts, up to 1920 watts, with NEMA plug. For steel drums and pails only, that do not contain a removable plastic liner.
SRX Infinite (Variable) Control with Three-Heat Switch designed for use on steel drums and pails with materials that are subject to charring, burning or separation, such as food, chocolate, honey, light oils, and undercoating materials. These heaters do not have a thermostat and will not automatically reach and hold a given temperature. The function of the infinite control is to cycle a current on and off into your material. This provides a gentle warming action to the material that is being heated. Infinite control operates within each of three wattage ranges for closer heat control. For steel drums and pails only, that do not contain a removable plastic liner.
LIM Pre-Set (Non-adjustable) Thermostat designed for heating materials in high density polyethylene drums and pails. Thermostat is factory set; will not exceed the maximum plastic-safe temperature of 165° F recommended by many plastic drum manufacturers. Simple on-off power control.
For indoor use only. Units are not moisture-proof or explosion-proof. Not for use with flammables or near a flammable area.
AGM, TRX and SRX series are not for use with plastic drums and pails or drums and pails that contain a removable plastic liner.
Caution: Allowing liquid in a container to fall below the level of the heater will render the heater ineffective and could irreparably damage the baked on epoxy phenolic lining in lined steel drums and pails.
Note: NEMA plug 5-15P is a standard three-prong plug. All other plugs require matching NEMA outlet.
