Operates with a minimum of 60 psi generated directly from a high pressure air source that has not passed through a regulator. Air motor speed is regulated by an air adjusting valve. Unit is designed to fit 55-gallon agitator drums and ships complete with a drum mount assembly and four shaft adapter couplings: 3/8" dia., and 7/16", 1/2", 5/8" square.
Primarily designed for use with plastic pails, these 5 gallon aluminized steel pail heaters are factory engineered to maintain a constant heaterband temperature of 165° F while in contact with a full pail. Fits plastic or metal pails, tapered and straight sided pails 9 1/2"-12" in diameter. 120 volt AC, 100 watts. Not for use with flammable materials or near a flammable area. For indoor use only.
Durable heaters install instantly with spring-loaded toggle clamp and spread heat over the entire heater surface. Drum and pail heaters have internal fiberglass insulation (except LIMD55-115). Thermostat Control with Three-Heat Switch designed for use on steel drums and pails with materials with good heat receptivity. Thermostat bulb senses temperature in an area distant from the heating elements. Three-heat switch allows three wattage ranges per thermostat setting.
Infinite (Variable) Control with Three-Heat Switch designed for use on steel drums and pails with materials that are subject to charring, burning or separation, such as food, chocolate, honey, light oils, and undercoating materials. These heaters do not have a thermostat and will not automatically reach and hold a given temperature. Infinite control operates within each of three wattage ranges for closer heat control.
Plastic Drum Heater with Pre-Set (Non-adjustable) Thermostat designed for heating materials in high density polyethylene drums and pails. Thermostat is factory set; will not exceed the maximum plastic-safe temperature of 165°F recommended by many plastic drum manufacturers. Simple on-off power control.
AGM, TRX and SRX series are not for use with lined steel drums or plastic drums.
Note: NEMA plug 5-15 P is a standard three prong plug.

Mounting bracket straddles top of drum or tank and adjusts to easily fit any container from 18" - 31" diameter with a depth that will accommodate a 30" long shaft. Units are portable and include stainless steel mixing shaft with 3-blade turbine impellers. Uses rigid couplers with set-screws. Other motor types, speeds, and options are available, including different size shafts and impellers by special order.

Gear-drive drum lid mixers are ideal for vigorous mixing of heavy-bodied coatings, epoxies, mud, plaster coatings and slurries. Built around a 5:1 ratio gear box, these mixers have the extra power and high torque necessary for all tough drum and tank mixing jobs. They are portable and shipped complete including a heavy-duty steel drum lid. Totally Enclosed, Fan Cooled (TEFC), Explosion-Proof (EP), and Air motors are standard. The TEFC units are supplied with a cord, a plug, and a switch. The EP units have motor leads only. The air models have a speed control valve. Other motor, shaft, and impeller options are available, and lids are available in stainless steel upon request.
