Morse Bracket and Rim Clamp Options "Must Have" accessories for handling plastic drums
When handling a plastic drum that is secured in a MORSE drum saddle the use of a Bracket or a Rim Clamp is required to prevent the plastic drum from slipping out of the saddle. Bracket is the best all-around choice. It is designed for use with rimless or rimmed plastic drums with diameters of 19" to 23.5" (30-55 gallon) and a height of 31" to 39". The Bracket is also recommended when handling fiber drums within the same dimensions. All necessary hardware is included along with installation instructions. Diameter Adapters 55/30-19 and 55/30-20.5 must be used in conjunction with the Bracket Option with drums 19" to 20.5" in diameter. Diameter Adapters 55/30-14.5, 55/30-16 and 55/30-17 already include adjustable top and bottom bracket-style supports of a different design, so the bracket option is not required. Rim Clamp may be preferred when handling 55 gallon plastic drums with a top rim that have a diameter of 22" to 23.5". All necessary hardware is included along with installation instructions. Note: Not every style and size option will work with every MORSE unit. Call Customer Service at 1-800-776-3786 for assistance with selecting options. |
