The Ultra-Grip III, an industry exclusive to Valley Craft, provides three fully hydraulic proportionally controlled functions that are activated by an ergonomic hand held pendant. A single set of fully hydraulic jaws automatically adjust to all drum types 15"-30" in diameter. Rotating function offers full 360° rotation for inverting and pouring to both the right and left. Tilt function allows the operator to pour forward 125°. Features infinitely variable speed for optimum control of your load, system pressure gauge and battery discharge indicator with hour meter and clock. Comes with built-in 12-volt battery-operated Power-Pak, 12V AC charger, control pendant on 20' pigtail cord and self contained hydraulics. Batteries included.

Economy line of drum grabbers are ideal for occasional use

These versatile drum grabbers are designed and priced for the occasional user. Easy to use: just slide and lock onto forks without any tools. Operator drives up to the drum with raised forks, lowering the foks while moving forwad. Curved arms engage and hold the drum tightly as the forks are raised for transport.

Standard Drum Grabbers are designed to handle one 55-gallon drum (SVG-55) or two 55-gallon drums (DVG-255).

Adjustable Drum Grabbers manually adjust to fit one 30 or 55-gallon drum (SAVG-53) or two 30 or 55-gallon drums (DAVG-253).

These grabbers adjust to accept 15, 30, 55, or 85 gallon drums, depending on the model. Just drive up to the drum and lower the forks as you continue towards the drum. The unique cam operation spreads the curved grabber arms and engages them with the drum. Lifting the forks locks the arms tightly around the drum.

Patented drum grabber has smooth-action spring-loaded jaws that grip tightly, reducing the risk of punctures or tears. Drums can be picked up or lowered in tight spaces. Works with all plastic drums that have a 3/16” minimum top lip (chime). Slips on and the forks and locks into place by hand tightening the T-handle screws. Fork pockets measure 5-3/8" x 1-1/2".

Mechanical drum grabber handles one or two drums without the operator leaving his seat. Get drums on or off pallets quickly and easily. Proven grab mechanism has massive steel jaws that grip more securely as the load increases. Works with straight wall drums, even drums with damaged sides. Welded steel construction for ultra-reliability.

Fork-Mount Models have drive-in 26 5/8" deep fork pockets spaced 16-1/2" apart, accepts forks up to 2-1/2" x 6-1/2".

Caution: Good fork-truck discipline must always be exercised by carrying the load low and avoiding unreasonable surfaces and high speeds. Sudden movement over rough terrain could unweight the drum, allowing the jaws to open, dislodging the drum.

All mechanical automatic clamping mechanisms handle from one to four drums (up to 2,000 lb each) at a time without any hydraulic or electrical connections to the lift truck. Simply position the center guide over the four drums, lower and lift. Once the drums are gripped, the clamping mechanisms safely secure the drums in place for transportation over dock plates and other unlevel surfaces. To release the drums, fully lower the drums onto a pallet or floor than elevate the center guide upward. Overall dimensions: 27" H x 38" L x 45" W.
