Get a solid grip on your drums with these versatile drum grabbers. They slide and lock onto forks without any tools. Standard Drum Grabbers are designed to handle one 55-gallon drum (SVG-55) or two 55-gallon drums (DVG-255). Adjustable Drum Grabbers manually adjust to fit one 30-gallon of 55-gallon drum (SAVG-53) or two 30 or 55-gallon drums (DAVG-253).

Automatically grabs 55-gallon ringed steel drums for moving, stacking, or palletizing. Utilizes a unique knuckle-gripping system and natural pressure of the loaded drum. This fork mounted unit is designed for limited drum handling needs. Usable fork tube size is 1 5/8" H x 5 5/8" W x 16" D.

These adjustable drum grabbers come in single and double drum versions and adjust to accept 15, 30, 55, or 85 gallon drums, depending on the model.

All VF Series Grabbers require a 22 1/2" outside fork spread and are available with spark resistant brass liners on grabber arms. Carriage mounted grabbers are also available. Ask your BASCO Customer Service Representative for details.

Drum handler picks up steel drums 18" – 24" diameter. Operator just rolls unit up to drum and flips a switch. Electrically actuated rubber-lined arms close around drum. Patented drum grabber has smooth-action spring-loaded jaws that grip tightly, reduces risk of punctures or tears. Drums can be picked or lowered in tight spaces. Ultra-Grip™ Battery Powered Drum Handler

Lift, transport, stack, palletize, rotate, invert, and dump from a drum, all without leaving the driver's seat. Large rubber lined jaws grip the drum securely without marring or denting. Drum grabber is powered by (2) 12-Volt deep cycle batteries (included). Equipped with a built-in battery charger and control box with a 4' - 20' coil cord. Capacity is 2000 lbs. when used for lifting or rotating and 1800 lbs.* for dumping. Fork spread is 20 1/2" and fork tubes inside dimensions: 2 1/2" H x 6 1/2" W x 28" L.

All mechanical automatic clamping mechanisms handle from one to four drums (up to 2,000 lb each) at a time without any hydraulic or electrical connections to the lift truck. Simply position the center guide over the four drums, lower and lift. Once the drums are gripped, the clamping mechanisms safely secure the drums in place for transportation over dock plates and other unlevel surfaces. To release the drums, fully lower the drums onto a pallet or floor than elevate the center guide upward. Overall dimensions: 27" H x 38" L x 45" W.

Maxi Grip™ Hydraulic Drum Grabber

Powerful fork-mounted drum grabber securely grips drums or cylinders from 18" to 28" diameter. Hydraulic power allows operator to grab, lift, transport and lower containers over rough surfaces or even outdoors. Rubber-lined jaws won't mar drums. Drive-in fork tubes, safety chain secures grabber to the forklift. Self-Powered Grabber can be used on any lift truck. No modifications to the truck are needed. Built-in hydraulic power unit uses two 12 volt deep-cycle batteries (included). Delivers approximately 1000 clamping operations per charge. Supplied with built-in battery charger, control box and coil cord that extends from 4' to 20'. Forklift Powered Grabber requires forklift to be equipped with auxiliary valve control and quick connect hydraulic couplers. Fiber Drum Models have jaws lined with special soft white rubber that won't mar or deform the drum. Plastic Drum Model has special hinged oversized jaw that wraps around the drum. Jaws are lined with special soft white rubber. Prevents drum from deforming and slipping out during lifting and transport.

Versa Grip™ Drum Handler Lifts, Stacks and Dumps Steel Drums

Powerful fork-mounted drum handler securely grips drums or cylinders from 18" to 28" diameter. Hydraulic power allows operator to grab, lift, transport and dump containers over rough surfaces or even outdoors. Rubber-lined jaws won't mar drums. Drive-in fork tube, safety chain secures drum grabber to the forklift. Self-Powered Handler can be used on any lift truck. No modifications to the truck are needed. Built-in hydraulic power unit uses two 12 volt deep-cycle batteries (included). Supplied with built-in battery charger, control box and coil cord that extends from 4' to 20'. Forklift Powered Handler requires forklift to be equipped with auxiliary valve control and quick connect hydraulic couplers.

* Dumping capacity with an open top drum is limited by the strength and rigidity of the drum. The drum must be capable of retaining its cylindrical shape while dumping.
