High capacity drum cradle with exclusive skid resister frame which eliminates slippage while loading. Nose plate has built-in lower chime hook to prevent sliding. Retractable zinc-plated tipping lever allows easy one-man drum tipping. Minimum height of 29" required. Frame measures 30" long x 18" wide x 20 1/4" high. Ships assembled. Note that drums must be a minimum of 29" high for the handle hook to engage to the drum chime.

MORSE™ Hydra-Lift Karrier

Load, move, lift, tilt and drain full drums

Safe, one-person operation drum handler

Low effort drum handler accepts fully loaded drums up to 800 lbs. or half-full drums up to 500 lbs. Easy-loading cinch-type saddle handles 55 gallon steel drums (optional adapters for other sizes and types). Fool-proof hydraulic system lifts drum up to 96". Gear driven tilt allows drum to be rotated through 360° forward or reverse, holds drum at any angle desired. All welded steel frame rolls easily on two 8" polyolefin wheels and two 4" swivel casters. Independent floor lock. Hand-operated hydraulic pump. Full lift is obtained in about 45 strokes. Tilting gear-drive has manual hand crank or chain wheel, depending on lift height. Tilt-Brake and Diameter Adapter option available for all units. Spark-resistant models available by special order.

Morse® drum dumper has simple and efficient manual dispensing. High-strength saddle and wear-resistant alloy chain tightener secure drum to carrier. Patented dual safety lock protects ratchet teeth from impact, large teeth provide greater holding power. Frame has tilt-lock to positively hold drum vertical while transporting or horizontal while dispensing. Locks are easily released for hand controlled tilting to any desired angle.

Lifts drums with the use of an in-plant hoist or with a lift truck hoist adapter. Jaw has only one moving part, making the lifter practically maintenance free. Unique slim design allows unit to be used where clearance is tight. Stainless Steel Lifter for 18" - 26" diameter steel, plastic, and fiber drums is available by special order. Spark-Resistant Drum Lifter for 18"-26" diameter steel drums with Monel metal jaws and lifting eye is available by special order. Note: Plastic and fiber drums must have a top rim. Open-head drums must have a drum cover that is securely attached.

BASCO's combination drum cradle has a retractable chime hook and retractable oak handles. Handles extend from 43 1/2" to 64" to provide extra leverage and make it much easier to handle when loaded. Heavy angle steel frame has an exclusive skid resister to prevent the cradle from slipping during loading. Frame rollers allow rotating drum for mixing or draining. Steel frame is 22" H x 18 1/2" W. Electric Models have hydraulic pump driven by 110 VAC, 1 phase TEFC motor. Supplied with 3-wire cord, plug and switch. Air Models have vane-type air motor. Raise or lower handle until hooks are positioned directly below the drum rim. Dual ratchets take over and raise the drum as the handle is pulled down. Ratchets maintain handle position so operator holds no weight. Raise handle to lower drum to floor or roll unit with drum in raised position to corner of pallet. Raise the handle, and drum is lowered onto the pallet, making drum handling and palletizing an easy task. Unit rolls easily on (2) 6" polyolefin load wheels with roller bearings and (2) 4" rear swivel casters. Designed for rimmed drums up to 22" to 23 1/ 2" diameter and 34" to 36" high.

Roto-Lift™ Multi-Purpose Drum Handlers

Roto-Lift™ multi-purpose drum handlers are ideal for transporting, stacking, and controlled pouring. Two ratchet belt tighteners and nylon belts hold drum securely. Worm-gear rotating mechanism holds drum at any desired angle. Welded steel frame has single post design for maximum operator visibility. Battery Powered Unit lifts drum at 17 feet per minute. Uses standard 12 volt DC deep-cycle battery (included). Built-in charger plugs into standard 110 VAC grounded outlet. Batteries are included. Air Powered Unit lifts drum at 17 feet per minute, uses 50 CFM @ 80 psi. Supplied with filter, regulator and lubricator. Manual Unit has foot-operated hydraulic pump and hand crank tilting. Lifts drum at 5 feet per minute. Unit has 25 1/2" long legs, 24 3/4" between legs. Rolls on 3" diameter polyurethane front wheels and 4" diameter swivel rear casters. 44" turning radius. Frame requires 6" underclearance. Counterweight Frame Models require no under clearance and allow pallet unloading and drum transport and dumping in close quarters. Supplied with (34) 13.5 lb. counter weights. Rolls on 5" diameter polyurethane front wheels and 4 1/2" diameter swivel rear casters. 61 1/4" turning radius. Note: Counterweight models weigh twice as much as straddle models and require much more effort to position and propel. Optional steel-It or stainless steel units are available for food and/or pharmaceutical applications.

Morse® drum dumper mounts quickly and easily on forks without tools. No modifications or connections to truck are needed. High strength saddle, alloy cinching chain and tightener with dual safety lock. 10' pull chain allows control from the operator's seat, rotates drum to any desired angle. 30:1 units have gear drive, 60:1 units are equipped with heavy-duty gear drive, 150:1 unit incorporates a 2-stage worm gearbox. Fork openings are 24 1/2" apart, accepts forks up to 2 1/2" x 6 1/2". Models for steel, fiber, and plastic drums. Battery Powered Karrier ^™ allows precise power dumping up to 180°, forward or reverse. Completely self-contained unit has 12 volt DC hydraulic power pack and two-button control pendant with cord.
