Hazardous Waste Lids with Vapor Control

Turn your 55 gallon open-head drums into fire-safe waste collection centers

Control vapors to comply with EPA and NESAM* regulations
FM Approved for fire safety
Complies with OSHA and NFPA requirements for closed container storage of flammables

These environmentally supportive drum lids offer an easy way to convert open-head drums into compliant hazardous waste receptacles. All three lids are gasketed and feature a vent that relieves pressure buildup between 3 and 5 psig at elevated temperatures. Model 26754 also features a gasketed 4 3/4" center access port for fast discards of small containers. Steel construction with a chemically resistant powder coat painted finish. Only a screwdriver and a wrench are required to install on a drum.

Models 26752 and 26754 are padlockable. Model 26753 is not padlockable.
Padlocks are sold separately.

Stackable

Available in 6 standard colors

Rugged polyethylene drum covers loosely fit onto both open and tight-head drums to protect from bung seepage in outdoor storage situations. 3" side lip keeps rain water out. Durable enough to allow other drums to be stacked on top of it.

Standard colors are: Yellow (YL), Red (RD), Blue (BL), Green (GR), Black (BK), White (WH).

Heavy Duty Plastic Drum Covers

Seamless polyethylene

FDA compliant material

These rigid, tough polyethylene covers for steel, plastic or fiber drums are one-piece molded with no seam or joints to catch dirt or harbor bacteria. Covers are completely flat across the top with a 1 1/2" protective flange. Covers are loose fitting. Fits open-head drums with covers removed or tight-head drums.

Drum Pal® covers are the best protective drum covers available. Made of LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene), a highly cut- and tear-resistant material that resists ultraviolet light and most chemicals. Cover can be reused dozens of times. Stack pallets of filled drums 4 high without damage to cover.

Shower Cap Drum Covers

Choice of polyethylene, anti-static poly or PVC
Elastic hem

Low cost protection from dirt, dust, moisture. Prevents contamination and evaporation. Heavy-duty elastic hem is securely lock-sewn, keeps cover in place yet allows easy removal when needed.

Polyethylene Covers are made from clear 4 mil FDA-Compliant LDPE, or 8 mil black woven LDPE (not FDA compliant), with 3/8" wide elastic band (band width may vary slightly). Note: Economy cover, 55-SC, is slightly shorter than the S55 (less coverage over side of drum).

Anti-Static Polyethylene Covers are ideal for areas where flammable vapors are present. Anti-static covers are pink.

PVC Covers are made from 4 or 8 mil frosted clear PVC and have 1" wide elastic band.

Fire Safe Drum Cover

Convert your drums into fire-safe receptacles

These drum covers provide an inexpensive way to convert open-top 30 and 55 gallon steel drums into fire-safe receptacles for combustible trash. Only a screwdriver and wrench are needed to attach the cover to a drum, and it can easily be removed when the drum needs to be emptied. 30 gallon cover will fit drums nominally 18 3/8" diameter. 55 gallon size will fit drums from 22 1/2" to 22 3/4" diameter. A replaceable fusible-link assembly inside the cover melts at 165° F to automatically slam the cover shut to extinguish the flame if there is a fire in the drum.

Wick Away Absorbs Water from 55 Gal. Drum Tops

Reusable

Simple and very low cost method for keeping water off 55 gallon steel drums stored outside. Special non-woven felt is permanently bonded to a durable galvanized steel backing strip. Absorbs 80 ounces of water per hour. Strip clips on to drum; won't blow off in wind. Style DW200 does not have steel backing and must be glued to top of drum. Use two per drum top. Sold in cases of 200 only.
