Round-Cord Gaskets

Round Cord Gaskets are available in Natural Rubber or EPDM.

Natural Rubber has open-cell structure. It is the most economical material for general purpose use. Made of FDA-compliant materials. Light tan in color.

EPDM has very high density closed cell structure for improved sealing power, and it provides excellent resistance to acids and alkalies.

Round gaskets are also available in custom cross-sections, as well as many other materials, including neoprene, nitrile, silicone and fluorocarbon rubber. Special gasket lengths are also available. Call Customer Service at 1-800-776-3786 for details.

Tubular Drum Gaskets

Highly resilient and non-porous materials

Available in SBR or Neoprene

Smooth finish tubular cross-section gaskets are widely used in the drum industry. Easily installed gaskets resist liquid absorption, nothing to tear or flake off into your product. Choose heavy wall gaskets for higher sealing power.

Choice of materials: BASCO SBR Rubber (styrene-butadiene) is great for general purpose applications, most economical rubber material available. SBR is FDA-compliant. Neoprene Rubber is an excellent all-purpose material with improved oil and chemical resistance.

All BASCO tubular drum gaskets are available in any combination of OD wall thickness and length desired. They are also available in other materials including EPDM nitrile and Viton®. Pinocchio High Performance Drum Gasket

Ideal for UN Specification drums

Easy to install

We call it "Pinocchio" because of its long sealing "nose". The extended projection on this gasket reaches into the deepest crevices between drum and cover, maintaining maximum sealing power, even when the drum is deformed or crushed. High-density, closed-cell EPDM foam rubber. Use any adhesive to install in cover.

This contour-fitting drum gasket fits onto the top of the drum, not the cover. It puts maximum sealing material between the lid and the cover, totally filling the gasket cavity. Its long leak path keeps product in, air out. Closed-cell foam rubber insures air-tightness, even if the surface skin is cut or torn. No messy adhesive is required.
